December

Flakes of snow, tis ‘bout to blow
tongues of kids they seek
Taste’s don’t care of flakes to share
innocence the crystals tweak

Northern gusts - adults to bust
December child endures
Seasons show the Christmas glow
White landscapes so demure

Hibernators and alligators
No cares of whiteness folly
Children let go at tundra's echo
The crown of leafless holly

Sun and son’s, girls of pearls
Harvest the snowflake greetings
Happy tears are here for years
Memories of winter sheeting
