The Songs of Christmas

I can't say enough about the many ways Christmas Carols are sung and performed. There are so many talented musical artists that it warms my soul to know so many people enjoy Christmas music as much as I do. One of my favorite songs during the Christmas Season is "Carol of the Bells." I've heard so many wonderful versions of this tune that I always look forward to hearing the many different arrangements each year. The way some people can play this song on different instruments makes me realize that music is so important around the world. The many choral groups that can sing this song perfectly really tickles me too!
I like to sing. I hope you do too! The elves are great at singing! As you know, they are a very musical people. And I'm glad they often ask me to join them. They make up their own songs every now and then. There is one song they play with each year they call the "We Can't Remember September" Song. Each day in September they will add a new verse to this made up song. The challenge is to remember the 30 verses of the song! It is such fun!
You know, I just couldn't imagine going a day without singing some kind of song! How about you?
