The Rocking Horse Toy Shop

Have you ever been on a rocking horse? I hope so! I can remember when I was young spending what seemed like hours riding my wooden rocking horse. I always imagined myself as a cowboy too! I can distinctly remember that creaking sound when I'd go back and forth and back and forth. This is why I like to visit the Christmas Village toy shop and to spend a lot of time in the rocking horse wing - every rocking horse looks similar, but trust me, there's a personality in each and every rocking horse made! The elves have several designs they work off of and are always trying new things on these horses. I like it when they add saddles with fun designs. The metal-framed rocking horses that use springs for suspension are fun too. The elves use special tuning forks on the springs that allow them to make a distinct 'creak-creak' sound. There's always an elf tuning the springs with a silver hammer - so each spring it makes the perfect rocking horse 'creaking' song. Whenever I show up at this part of the Toy Shop the elves will bring out a larger rocking horses for me to try - it makes them laugh when they see me testing these rocking horses. But I don't mind. I think it's good for me to test all the toys (and cookies too) before any delivery. Don't you think so too?
