Christmas Village Skating Rink

The snowmen invited me to ice skate with them today. I asked Elf Vizz to sharpen my skates and took to the ice! I'm not the best skater but I really enjoy getting out and moving around the ice rink. This year the ice is a deep green color thanks to the contributions of the magical evergreens that line the banks of the rink. I unfortunately fell only a few times but I didn't get hurt. I was mostly embarrassed. The reindeer were certainly laughing when I tumbled but they kept cheering for Ole Santa Klutz! Ho, Ho, Ho!. The snowmen are natural skaters up here and I always enjoy watching them. They put on a ice skating show once a month and every year they have a huge pre-Christmas extravaganza on ice! I can't wait to watch it this year - they're putting up ramps for some ice jumping for the show. These snowmen are so graceful! I received a lesson from Snowman Iccee who started teaching me how to skate backwards. I didn't do too well but I'm going to practice! I have a goal now to be able to skate backwards by Christmas.
