(similar to a PG) "Holiday Affair" is a little-known film that's well-liked among its mostly female fans. It's Christmas time, and a clerk in a department store meets a woman he thinks is a customer (she's really undercover on another mission). When he finds out who she really is, he ends up getting fired over the incident. Still, the two are attracted to each other, much to the dismay of the woman's boyfriend. Her son is quite taken with the new fellow. Robert Mitchum, Janet Leigh and Wendell Corey star in this sweet yuletide story of a romantic triangle. (1949)
