(made for television, similar to a PG) In "Silent Night, Lonely Night," it's Christmas time, but all is not merry in a small town in New England. Lloyd Bridges and Shirley Jones star as the pair who meet and share Christmas together. Bridges is visiting his wife, who is in a mental ward at the university; Jones is visiting her student son, and has found out that her husband is cheating on her. Together, they remember the past with their spouses during previous times. This is a sad, touching story that's mostly for grownups because of the content. (1969)
