(G) I grew up watching this and I'll grow old watching it. "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" is a staple for us baby boomers, who can pass it along to their grandchildren now. This is the story of the reindeer we all know who can't play games with the rest of the deer because of his glowing snout. Misfit Rudolph joins up with Herbie (or is it Hermie? Critics disagree...), an elf who really wants to be a dentist. I always start to snuffle during the Island of Misfit Toys sequence. And of course, along the way, we learn that being different can be an asset, after all. (1966)
