(PG) This is yet another version of the Dickens "A Christmas Carol" story. "Scrooge" is a musical, so it has a little different feel than the others. Albert Finney is great as the title character who is visited by ghosts on Christmas Eve. Scrooge, of course, learns a lesson about miserliness as he takes a look at the past, present and what could be his future if he doesn't straighten up. Sir Alec Guinness also stars as the ghost of Jacob Marley, Scrooge's deceased business partner. (1970)
